Inspired by the multicultural and multigenerational experience on Miami's campus, our Performing Arts Series seeks to celebrate our richly textured heritage and community. Through this series, we produce a full calendar of events, including chorale and instrumental performances, festivals, and virtual productions.

Just Announced: Sal Vulcano from Impractical Jokers and the podcasts “Hey Babe” and “Tastes Buds” headlines Miami Family Weekend!

The Staten Island native is best known for creating and starring in truTV’s long-running hit “Impractical Jokers,” and for “The Misery Index” on TBS. In addition to performing as part of The Tenderloins Comedy Troupe to sold-out arenas, Sal founded the No Presh Network in 2020, hosting "Hey Babe!” and “Taste Buds” podcasts. Sal’s debut solo comedy special ‘Terrified’ was released in May 2024 on YouTube.

Travel Across the Universe
With his ship wrecked and his trusty computer JCN on the fritz, brave explorer Gulliver finds himself lost in space with nothing but an Invisible Force to guide him! While transporting from world to world, under the control of the Maniacal Scientist of Lapunta, Gulliver discovers fighting aliens, arrogant Horse Leaders of the foolish Yahoos, larger-than-life royalty (in more ways than one) and robots – all who need just as much help from Gulliver as Gulliver needs from them! Tune in as this sci-fi spin on the timeless tale of Gulliver's Travels will take you out of this world!
