Walk-in Assistance

For most problems and questions, walk-in assistance is available at the IT Service Center in 317 Hughes Hall, west wing. For current hours, check the IT Help web site.

Faculty seeking help creating or modifying electronic course materials may seek assistance from Advanced Learning Technologies in 307 Laws Hall.

On-Site Assistance

Sometimes it is just better to have someone right by your side for those difficult problems that can’t be solved over the phone. Faculty, staff and students living on campus can receive on-site assistance for some technical needs.

Many divisions and departments have their own local technology support staff that serve the area’s academic and administrative needs and provide hands-on technology support. Departmental preferences differ and will determine if you should contact the IT Services Support Desk or your local technology support staff with questions about on-campus technology. The Campus Partnerships department of IT Services can also provide resources for desktop support to Miami departments.
