The Properties window appears most often on the bottom of the screen in Dreamweaver (it differs in various versions).
Here, you can change where your type goes on a page by clicking on one of the little sets of lines on the top right-hand side of the box:
- Click the first one to position your typing or images on the left side of the page, the next one to center them, the next to position them on the right-hand side of the page, and the last one to make your typed text justified on both sides.
Other ways to position type or pictures on the page:
- When you insert and/or select an image on your page, the properties box changes:
You can position your image by clicking on the "Align" box at the bottom right-hand side of the Properties box, or by giving pixel coordinates in V Space and H Space (Vertical, Horizontal).
- You can position type and/or pictures by making a table in which you place them, and then making the borders of that table "0" -- that makes it invisible.
