Final Examination Schedule

The Office of the Registrar develops the final examination schedule for the Oxford campus for spring and fall semesters.

The schedule and policies are posted on the Registrar's web site approximately three weeks prior to the beginning of the semester. Except for group examinations, final examinations are held in the room where the class regularly meets.

Group Examinations

In order for classes to be eligible to have a group final examination during one of the designated group examination timeblocks, the following criteria must be met. Enrollment data will be reviewed approximately three weeks prior to the start of fall and spring semesters in order for faculty to prepare syllabi.

• 3 or 4 sections of the same course with total enrollment of 200+
  OR
• 5 or more sections of the same course, regardless of enrollment

Room assignments for group examinations are posted on the examination schedule approximately 1 month prior to final examination week.

All campuses will follow the guidelines for final examination conflicts as stated in the Conflicts & Excessive Examinations section of the Oxford Campus Final Examination Schedule.
