Coordinated lecture, recitation and lab (144) to develop ideas, experience, methodology, and skills used in the application of scientific methodology. Framework is consideration of fundamental principles of atomic and molecular structure, chemical bonding, properties of solutions, and chemical reactions. Gain skills in developing hypotheses, observing chemical phenomena, collecting data, and evaluating results critically. Concurrent course: CHM 144.
