Celebrate a healthy community one step at a time! Have fun as you work with our coaches to achieve your training goals and complete the Red Brick 5K on April 23, 2017. All fitness levels welcome.
Get motivated and get moving to complete the Red Brick 5K. Set a goal and Team Miami will provide weekly training and encouragement all the way to the finish line! Team Miami welcomes participants of any fitness level. Bring a friend for added motivation and partnership (ages 12-17 welcome if accompanied by 18+ adult).
The Red Brick 5K race registration fee is $10 and submitted online. The Team Miami Plus program fee is $25 and includes a dry-fit T-shirt, 10-week training program, Rec Center track times, and post race celebration on April 24. The $25 payment accepted beginning February 13. Cash, check made payable to Miami University, or payroll deduction with valid Miami ID will be accepted (mini-groups please call to make payment arrangements).
Step 1: Select a training group: Walk, Walk & Jog, or Run and join the weekly training sessions at Millett Hall OR form a mini-group and train at another time and location (weekly check-in recommended).
Step 2: Registration is required for the training program and for race day.
Step 3: Attend the first session on Monday February 13 @ 5:30pm in Millett Hall, West Concourse. Plenty of parking is available. OR start your mini-group training the week of 2/13.
Step 4: Commit to your weekly training and participate in the Red Brick 5K on Sunday, April 23, 2017 @ 10:30am in Oxford, Ohio.
