Adolescent to Young Adult Integrated English Language Arts grades 7-12 Bachelor of Science in Education Prepares students to teach writing, literature, grammar, usage, speech, media, and journalism by studying literature, linguistics, writing, and education methodology/pedagogy.
Adolescent to Young Adult Integrated Mathematics grades 7-12 Bachelor of Science in Education Prepares students to teach all areas of mathematics by studying calculus, linear algebra, geometry, abstract algebra, computers and math software, statistics, and education methodology/pedagogy.
Adolescent to Young Adult Integrated Social Studies grades 7-12 Bachelor of Science in Education Prepares students to teach social studies by studying history, geography, economics, anthropology, sociology, political science, psychology, and education methodology/pedagogy.

Athletic Training Athletic Training - Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training This major will prepare educated professional athletic trainers through academic and clinical education in which students develop competency and proficiency of entry-level skills for successful completion of the Board of Certification examination and eventual employment placement in the Athletic Training Profession.
Kinesiology Kinesiology - Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health (Bachelor of Science in Health and Sport Studies for catalog year 2008 and earlier) The Kinesiology major is designed to give breadth and depth of knowledge in the physiological and psychological functioning of human beings under a variety of environmental and activity conditions.
Nutrition Nutrition - Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health (Bachelor of Science in Health and Sport Studies for catalog year 2008 and earlier) Students majoring in nutrition study people’s nutritional needs and care. All students in the major complete the Nutrition Foundation and choose their career path by selecting a concentration, either the Community Nutrition for the non-RD student or the Dietetics Concentration for those students planning on becoming a registered dietitian. To become a registered dietitian, dietetic graduates must complete a clinical experience and pass a professional examination.
Health Promotion Health Promotion - Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health (Bachelor of Science in Health and Sport Studies for catalog year 2008 and earlier) The health promotion curriculum is cross-disciplinary in nature. Students completing this major will be able to facilitate individual health behavior maintenance and/or change as well as plan, implement, and evaluate programs for diverse groups of people.
Sport Studies Sport Studies - Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health (Bachelor of Science in Health and Sport Studies for catalog year 2008 and earlier) This major allows students who have a keen interest in sport to study it from a cross-disciplinary perspective, and prepare to critically engage in the provision and practice of sport.
Coaching Coaching Minor Minor Designed for any student who is interested in formal preparation for a career in coaching. The courses are sequenced in the minor to allow students to develop knowledge about the art, science, and pedagogy of coaching. The minor offers students the opportunity to obtain competencies needed to coach at the youth, interscholastic, and intercollegiate levels of sport.
Nutrition Nutrition Minor Minor Provides an understanding of nutrition, including specialized courses in child nutrition, nutrition for the aging, and community nutrition. It is open to all students and complements majors in health-related professional and pre-professional programs (pre-medicine, pre-dentistry, exercise science, health studies, and sport studies)..

Intervention Specialist Mild Moderate K-12 Bachelor of Science in Education Prepares students to work as a special education teacher for children with mild/moderate educational needs. Mild/moderate specialists are eligible for a multi-aged license for grades K-12.
