Adolescent to Young Adult Integrated English Language Arts grades 7-12 Bachelor of Science in Education Prepares students to teach writing, literature, grammar, usage, speech, media, and journalism by studying literature, linguistics, writing, and education methodology/pedagogy.
Adolescent to Young Adult Integrated Mathematics grades 7-12 Bachelor of Science in Education Prepares students to teach all areas of mathematics by studying calculus, linear algebra, geometry, abstract algebra, computers and math software, statistics, and education methodology/pedagogy.
Adolescent to Young Adult Integrated Social Studies grades 7-12 Bachelor of Science in Education Prepares students to teach social studies by studying history, geography, economics, anthropology, sociology, political science, psychology, and education methodology/pedagogy.

Athletic Training Athletic Training - Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training This major will prepare educated professional athletic trainers through academic and clinical education in which students develop competency and proficiency of entry-level skills for successful completion of the Board of Certification examination and eventual employment placement in the Athletic Training Profession.
Health Promotion Health Promotion - Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health The health promotion curriculum is cross-disciplinary in nature. Students completing this major will be able to facilitate individual health behavior maintenance and/or change as well as plan, implement, and evaluate programs for diverse groups of people.
Kinesiology Kinesiology - Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health The Kinesiology major is designed to give breadth and depth of knowledge in the physiological and psychological functioning of human beings under a variety of environmental and activity conditions.
Nutrition Nutrition - Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Students majoring in Nutrition study people’s nutritional needs and care. All students in the major complete the Nutrition Foundation and choose their career path by selecting a concentration, either the Community Nutrition for the non-RD student or the Dietetics Concentration for those students planning on becoming a registered dietitian. To become a registered dietitian, Dietetic graduates must complete a clinical experience and pass a professional examination
Sport Leadership and Management Sport Leadership and Management - Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health This major prepares students for leadership positions in the sport industry (recreational to professional, youth to adult) by providing them with knowledge and skills to critically analyze and innovatively engage in the business and culture of sport. Students select at least one concentration in Coaching, Sport Management, Sport Journalism, or Sport Media. Sport Journalism and Sport Media require students to also complete an additional Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Journalism or Media and Culture.
Coaching Coaching Minor n/a This minor allows students to obtain the knowledge and skills needed to coach at the youth, interscholastic, and intercollegiate levels of sport. Completion of the minor requirements results in certification by the Ohio High School Athletic Association and the National Federation of State High School Associations (required for interscholastic coaches). This minor is open to all university students except Sport Leadership & Management majors, who are excluded from this minor.
Nutrition Nutrition Minor n/a This minor provides a basic understanding of nutrition and includes specialized courses in nutrition. It complements majors in health-related professional and pre-professional programs. It does not provide a basis for counseling in nutrition. This minor is open to all university students except Nutrition majors, who are excluded from this minor.
Sport Management Sport Management Minor n/a This minor focuses on the knowledge and skills needed for administrative or managerial positions in sport at various levels (from youth to elite sport) and in various contexts (from community recreational to professional sport). This minor is open to all university students except Sport Leadership and Management majors, who are excluded from this minor.

Intervention Specialist Mild Moderate K-12 Bachelor of Science in Education Prepares students to work as a special education teacher for children with mild/moderate educational needs. Mild/moderate specialists are eligible for a multi-aged license for grades K-12.

Family Relationships Family Relationships N/A Minor Includes helping students acquire and use critical thinking practices while gaining in-depth understanding of family relationships across the life course. Learners completing the minor will gain insight concerning family diversity, couple relationships, sexuality, parenting, child development, and care of older family members as practiced within diverse contexts
