An array of choices

Miami University offers a wide variety of courses, workshops, and programs for the professional development of K-12 educators. Whether you are interested in updating your skills, adding a new license, or earning a graduate degree, we have something for you.

And, if you are a licensed, full-time K-12 educator in Ohio, you may be eligible for the Miami Team Scholarship which provides a 50 percent reduction in tuition and fees. The Choose Ohio First Scholarship assists science and mathematics teachers.

Our courses and programs are offered in a variety of locations, including Oxford, Hamilton, Middletown, West Chester (Voice of America Learning Center), and Cincinnati. For information about VOALC offerings go here.

  • Teacher Education:

    M.Ed. in Reading Education, Elementary Education, Adolescent Education, or Mathematics Education (Elementary or Adolescent)

  • Educational Psychology:

  • M.S. and Ed.S. in School Psychology, M.Ed. in Educational Pscychology and Instructional Design and Technology

  • Educational Leadership:

    M.Ed. in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership or Educational Leadership (principal licensure); Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Educational Administration

Courses and workshops

How to Enroll:

If you are interested in taking a course or workshop, without enrolling in a masters or doctoral program, apply for continuing non-degree status.

If you would like to pursue a master’s, specialist or doctoral degree, apply for a degree program.
