Stone Tools?

Although stone tools were made and used by early humans, and our pre-human ancestors, there is no record of chimps making stone tools. It would be very difficult for chimps to make stone tools. Thus, the flint stones you selected would not be a good choice for this experiment. You may learn more about how early humans made stone tools by reading about the work of Nick Toth and Kathy Schick.
