Your alarm clock goes off. You see that it's 9:30 a.m. Oh no! You set your alarm for the wrong time, and you've missed your tour group to see the sights of Paris! Quickly you jump out of bed, get dressed, and run down to the hotel's front desk. You ask the front desk clerk if your tour group has left yet. She says, "Oui, they left about an hour ago. I believe they were going to see the Arc de Triomphe first."
You want to catch up with the group as fast as you can! So you get a Paris map from the clerk. She marks where the Arc de Triomphe is, and you walk outside the hotel to start your adventure.
You now need to find the quickest way to get to the Arc de Triomphe from your hotel, which is in front of the Palais de Chaillot on the side facing away from the Eiffel Tower. Look at your Paris map, then return to answer the questions. Will you get there fastest by going:
West on Cours Albert,
Northeast on Avenue Kleber, or
East then north on Avenue D'iena?
