The IRB at Miami has a two-component educational program for addressing federal and university policies regarding the protection of research subjects. Both components of the educational program must be completed by researchers before an application will be reviewed.

Part I:
CITI Online Training Required for any persons involved with human subjects research.

Part II:

Miami On Campus Training

Required for persons authoring and submitting applications for IRB review or Exemption.

Refresher Course Requirement: Once basic requirements are met, Miami researcher are required to complete either the CITI refresher modules or attend an Application Training session every three years.
