The Second Island

As you come closer to the second island you discover that it has a large colony of seabirds. At first it seems as if a seabird is going to dive bomb you. Then you notice a large number of them around the coastline.

Animal life is also abundant on the island although you see hardly any plants. There are many spiders (which you are not thrilled about), scorpions, and flies. Just when you start to get comfortable with the scorpions, you see a lizard and then a rat. But because of the commotion and calls of the birds you decide to head toward the bird colony. Dr. Polis points out that both the bird colony and the lizards are important to the island life. Let's find out how...
