Well what is "sewage disposal" anyway?
Glad you asked!

Sewage Disposal, or wastewater disposal, involves the collection, treatment, and sanitary disposal of water-carried wastes from households and industrial plants.

What does that mean?

When you flush water down the drain, chances are,  you also flushed other things down the drain like toilet paper and human waste.  These things have to be removed before the water can be reused or put into a lake or river.

Well, now that you know what sewage disposal is, where does it go?

Click here to find out where the water goes.
