A Tree of 8 Meters with Needles and a Round Crown

Your tree probably won't grow in Costa Rica because because none of your choices would work well in the canopy of a tropical rainforest. We don't see pine needles in the rainforest because they are mostly good at retaining moisture -- something that is unnecessary in a wet place. Why do you thisk that we don't see round pine trees up north?
